Parking Lot Attendants are responsible for the efficient and safe flow of traffic through our Village Center arrival and drop-off zone and our parking lots on property.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Monitors guests in the load zone to ensure they follow proper load/unload procedures (i.e., flashers, time limit, do not leave vehicles unattended).
- Directs and controls traffic to ensure efficient traffic flow on resort property, including the Drop-Off zone.
- Ensure guests are parked in designated areas.
- Communicates with shuttle driver to ensure guests are picked up in a timely manner.
- Completes daily shift paperwork where applicable.
- Assists guests with unloading equipment and out of their vehicles when necessary.
- Directs guests to resort services and amenities.
- Helps guests with issues and inquiries following Jiminy Peak’s Standards of Friendly and Helpful Guest Service.
- Actively picks up trash and debris from lots at the beginning and throughout shifts and shoveling/sanding when needed.
- Responsible for the daily vehicle count.
- Plows parking lot areas upon Manager’s request, provided the employee is qualified to perform such tasks.
Qualifications:
- Available weekends and holidays.
- Must be professional in appearance.
- Able to work standing up for extended periods of time.
- Able to withstand extreme weather conditions.
- Possess strong oral communication skills.
- Must be guest service oriented and possess a desire to work with the public.
- Safety conscious and oriented.
- Must be 14 years or older.
